Moving from Colorado to Georgia.

Ok, so the Army is having me move. I will be down there sometime in Oct. As of right now I'm over here in Afghanstan. Then back to Colorado then down there. So looking for info about the Ft. Benning area. Where to live, rent, schools, ect.... Any info you have will be great. You can only get so much off of the internet. Thanks

My brother is stationed at Benning and lives in Fort Mitchell Alabama. It's right over the state line and only about a 10-15 minute ride from the front gate. He really likes it and got a great deal on his house and lives in a nice neighborhood. His wife is an elementary school teacher in GA (somewhere just over the line). I'll try to get some more info for you if you would like.

Yes please. My wife knows a few people down that way. She most likely has a job waiting on her there. Just looking for what I talked about in the first post.

Ok, so it looks like I will not be moving now. Since the Army has changed a bunch of rules now. I have now hit my RCP date and can no longer reenlist. So time for me to get out. Thanks to all of you.
