Quick ?

Hey I might be moving down there sometime around Oct. So does GA have a fender flare law? Its not for my truck but for my Jeep. I have full size axles on it w/ 39.5 Iroqs. So they stick out a bit. Right now I'm in Co and its no big deal. Thanks.

I don't believe so. I've seen some jeeps and mud buggy's driving around before w/ full size axles and 15.5" + wide tires. It's really going to depend more on where you're moving to in GA....whereabouts?

Most likely it will be Ft. Benning, GA. So western half of the state. I'm coming down on orders.

As a state, I don't think there's an issue or law. It'll be the local-yokels that hassle you. If you're out in the country, you'll probably be OK. in some of the more snooty 'burbs, they might give you a hassle.

My Bronco II has 33x12.50s on it and they stick out a bit (maybe an 1-1.5 inch) and I've never been hassled. and like Bubba88 said, there's plenty of jeeps and mud truck with full axles and tires sticking out

I don't think we have a law against that, there's plenty of rigs running around central Georgia that have cutouts - and they don't seem to have any trouble.

One of my friends has a jeep with stock axles and 33x15.50 Mickey's. They stick out a good 5 inches and he's never been hassled. You'll be fine the cops might stop you to admire , but thats about it.

There's some good mud spots around Columbus, GA. There's a good size one a couple hours north of you (Dallas, GA) and Tallapoosa, GA. Just give me a shout when you get to good ol' GA and I'll let you know! We go muddin ALL the time!
