salvage/junk/pull-a-part yards?

Does anyone know of any? The few that I've been able to find either A)Don't have powerstrokes (or any diesel) B)Don't allow you to be free and walk around on your own or C)Sell via telephone and shipping only (no yard open to the public).

I'm about 30 miles south of atl but I can commute anywhere within reason (1h) especially if they're known to carry PSD's. What I don't want, is to walk into a yard and the employees feel then need to taxi me around, pull the parts for me, and then charge me more. haha.

Any phone numbers, directions, information would help. I've googled all sorts of things and even called many but to no avail. Thanks in advance.

edit - I'm looking for stock IC parts (sig).

onthebio - I may have access to all the parts you are looking for ( I think). A buddy of mine just purchased a 01 f-450 with a low mile 7.3 6sp 4x4. He is putting it into a 00 f-450 2wd auto. I am trying to get the 7.3 as a core motor so I can start building one for my truck. I think I can get pics and prices for what you want. I know this is not the free reign on a yard you are looking for but it is what I can offer to help. It is down here in the big city of Bunnell FL. We can talk about shipping or maybe when there is another GA. G2G we can meet up in GA. somewhere. If you are interested or want anymore info PM me.

That would work except for the spyder. If he's selling the IC and pipes then I def could use them.

Not a problem it may take a couple of weeks to get together with him b/c our work schedules seem to always contradict each other.

I might settle for one of those for the PSD - if I could even find one that had PSD's. I can find them all day long for my Ranger. There's something I don't know about diesels in pull it yards because if they have anything that requires diesel it's an old school bus or an ambulance.

what are you doing to your obs ? are you gonna lift it or stock height ?

Meh, haven't decided yet. If a lift is ever installed it will be because it has to be, for a clearance issue or such.

onthebio - Are you still looking for any items or have you found everything you need for your IC job?

I have no idea about finding a 7.3 PSD in a salvage yard. I did see a 6.0 in a bone yard the other day. I was going to get the IC and the trans cooler but it was already spoken for by the time I got there.
