Jake, have you run any Rev-X in your oil, for that matter, what oil are you using? Def sounds like an injector issue.

I'd try some Rev-X in your next oil change. If that doesn't work, give Vivian a call and ask her about it. I would think the stiction wouldn't be as noticeable in stock form. A problem with the glow plugs wouldn't help either. Do your glow plug work and dump some Rev-X in at your next oil change.

DEFINITELY RUN SOME REV-X. your injectors aren't getting enough lubrication.

It's MORE than likely one of your injectors. I just had the same issues before replacing good ol' #3. Does kinda "sputter" at idle? Best thing to do is hook it up on a scanner and look at the chart. You'll be able to see which injector it is. IF it is one, the sooner the better because since my #3 was going bad....#7 was working harder to make up for it. The longer I would have waited the better chance #7 would "burn out" quicker.

Next time Rattlesnake18 jumps in here ask him about his injector issues. He ran a bottle of rev-x through the system and miraculously his truck stopped having an injector issue. Just saying.

Yes Gregg that did help out, but what I have noticed has helped my injector issues the most is the new Bullet Proof Diesel FICM that I am beta testing for them right now.

See these threads for more info....

hmm....I guess he got in time. I did the rev-x and it ran better for about 2 weeks and then the problem came back....but my #3 was just plain roasted, toasted, and shot. haha. I'm not complaining because they were the factory ones and the truck just rolled over 210k.
