Georgia Powerstroke G2G!!!

Alright Guys and Gals,

I PM'ed Ross (DuraWhat?) and haven't heard back from him yet but I don't think he'll mind me trying to set something up...

I want to have a G2G! I'm thinking Saturday, October 15th (noonish) at Lane Packing in Fort Valley. Lane Packing's website can be seen here: Lane Southern Orchards | Fresh Georgia Peaches, Strawberries, Pecans, Candy and Gifts!

They have all sorts of fun and games for the whole family! They're going to have all sorts of neat things to do as well; a corn maze, pumpkin carving, a petting zoo, festival games for children, and fellas.... they're even gonna have a corn cannon! A CORN CANNON!!!!(Pretty much a potato gun that shoots ears of corn)

They have a decent sized parking lot and a restaurant on site (they have amazing ice cream by the way). I'm pretty sure we could grill out there and maybe even get a reserved space for parking - provided we have a good RSVP listing. I'm trying to figure out something to do and to find a good centralized location that we can all meet up at.

Since I live nearby, I can call and make all the accommodations we need. Let me know what you guys think. I really want to meet some of you guys, and I'm sure everyone will have a good time. So.... let's get this G2G on the books!!!!

And if Lane Packing is too boring, then let's figure SOMETHING out. I'm tired of seeing other states having all of these great turn outs and G2G's while we seem to be standing still. Let's show'em how the good ole southern boys (and belles) do!

I would be up for that. I haven't made it to a g2g yet but I'm off on weekends now so I'm good.
That place sounds fine to me but then again, I consider myself kind of boring.LOL. I look forward to meeting some fellow powerstrokers wherever it is.

Awesome guys! I'm still going down the threads PM'ing away! If you know some guys, spread the word too (if you don't mind). We can meet anywhere, Lane Packing is just a cool-all-around family fun place. I think we'll have a good time there.

Keep me in the loop/updated. I'm new to the site but you wouldn't leave a Georgia native out just because of that would you?

I think this is a great idea. I like the idea of a family friendly atmosphere.

Well its only 30 mins from my house so if IM home from school that weekend Ill come. Are any of yall going to the PHP dyno day on Oct 7-8th?

Thanks! Yeah, I think that us starting out by doing something that the whole family can enjoy would be best! Plus.... if we wanted to.... Silver Dollar Raceway in Reynolds is only 20-25 minutes down the road.

But the family thing is a good touch I think. I went last year, and I had a lot of fun. I'm 26, no kids - and I had a blast. The corn cannon was probably my favorite thing! Haha! That, and the corn maze. That thing was pretty challenging...
