Hydrogen kits...?

Brand new to the forums:
I've been reading up and hunting for an 03 Excursion w/ the 7.3L. I am interested to know if anyone that owns an EX or an f-250, or f-350 has done any type of hydrogen kits that supposedly increase hp's, clean the engine, reduce emissions, etc...
So, anyone know anything valuable?
Thanks,
RED

Welcome to the Addiction! I looked into doing a hydrogen kit on a gasser I had, It seemed to be viable. I never did it though. Iam interested in what the guys on here think about putting one on a diesel.

I think water-methanol is more beneficial to a diesel, but correct me if I'm wrong.

Kinda figured it would be similar to propane injection, at least as far as performance gains are concerned.

Cool Hydrogen

There isn't a problem running both. They have different purposes. I run a 16gal two stage RSD water kit and a 6.5L per min. RSD hydropak. The water cools the piston and expands in the cylinder and the hydrogen extends the burn and leaves nothing behind. Anybody can build either one of these. The people on e-bay for the most part are full of it. There output claims and amperage draw if put to the test would be a puddle on the floor. Thats why mine only puts out what it does. It will live a long time and can have twice the output if crank up the power. My educated guess would be about 10L per minute for the 7.3 to rock. I've had units on my Kenworth trucks since 1995. The engine inside looks like a propane engine inside. It takes forever to dirty the oil because nothing gets past the rings.

@ Ramsmoker: I want to know too!
BTW, there was this nice little 2-lane road there that ran up to Sunset Lake that we used to call "The Whoopie Road". As kid going up to the camp, I used to just LOVE that road. Is it still there, or did they take out all the dips?

I can't add anything concerning to diesels with hydrogen, but i have a friend that made one for his 70's '350 with a bored out 390 (410) gasser, his mileage went from 10 to 13mpg, that may not seem like much, but he was sure tickled with the 30% gain.

The guys at Diesel Power mag could never get theirs to help at all. Now all the generator they tried is is a paper weight.
