Will this hurt my truck?

I have a 2001 7.3 4x4 extended cab with an intake, foil delete, gauges, and exhaust (4in down pipe 5in back) no muff or cat. 2.5in leveling kit and 35's.

I dont have a tuner and am wondering if the big exhaust is gonna hurt my truck or cook my waste gate as someone put it on another forum. This is my first diesel and I am learning as I go. The tuner is going to be my last mod as I want to dd this thing and have it last for a while. Is it ok to wait on the tuner or should I get it asap? Do I have too little back pressure?

any advise is welcome thanks for the help.

The person that said a big exhaust will cook your wastegate is a complete moron. A bigger exhaust if beneficial. You can wait on a tuner. There is no reason that you would have to have it in order to keep the truck in running condition.

agreed the bigger the exhaust the less your EGTS will be. therefore helping out save your turbo with less heat.

i see you can get the tuner when ever you want i have a 2000 7.5 and i have a 4 in turbo back and runs like a champ. my sig has all the info on what i have done to my truck.
so i would say wait till you can afford it and not go broke cuz you will love the power the tuner adds
