Do you mean exhaust off the downpipe? Cuase unless they have been put on and Im not sure if they make them for 6.0s even, you dont have headers. and if it was coming off headers that would mean you are missing a turbo so Im guessing its dumped at the downpipe? Also for the SCT check out stealthautomotive.com he is also a vendor on here

and welcome to the org!

ahh ok so its dumped at the downpipe. your truck doesnt have headers, those cost like 2 grand to get if they make them for 6.0s and they really arent necessary unless you make a ton of power

Really if I were you I would just get the best programmer the first time, which would be a custom tuned SCT and you can get tunes that are not gonna have as much power so they will be easier on your trans

How much power is "too much" for a stock tranny? I'm buying an '02 lariat crew cab 4x4, and I was thinking about a DP tuner. I was looking at the 1200 high idle, 40 tow, 80 econ, 100 race, and 140 aggressive settings. Will this be over the top without any mods to the tranny? Recommendations?

Thanks
