I got a 2000 F 350 and have a Superchip Cortex programmer installed, with a airdaid air intake and notice a good difference in power and mileage. What i am woundering is how does the 97- 03 7.3s like the Edge evolution other than that it has the display ready to go which the Cortex does not have. So basically i would like to compare something other than the Cortex

dont even bother with the edge. everyone willtell you they are very bad for our trucks. you will def have tranny issues if you use it. get a dp tuner or a tw

deffinently go tw custom tunes. im headed that way hopefully in spring when money comes around. youll never regret it

the edge is good for a while untill it destroys your tranny my buddy has one and it only took about 3 or 4 months untill the tranny started acting up

Get a custom tuned chip from DP Tuner or Tony Wildman

Alot of guys use the edge just as guages. But it is a lot cheaper to just buy guages. AS far as edge or superchips they are awsome when you have never been in a tuned truck and they wake youre truck up a little. But that is just smoke and mirrors. For real tuning you want custom tuning. The tuner wether DP or TW will tune for youre needs while getting the most from youre truck. Plus they will tune the tranny to help deal with the added power.

If you dont already have guages you should put that on youre priority list even with the cortex. Trans temp, boost, EGT.
