Which injectors or mod

I use my early 99' basically for just towing my toyhauler, 11k lbs. I'm looking to get more power(reliable power) - what should be my next step. Currently the truck has aftermarket intake, 4" exhaust, Bully dog 4 position chip, 01' turbo & intake and gauges. I'm not looking to go extreme here, just a little more power to get up the hills easier.
I was considering an injector upgrade, I have AB injectors in it now - how much would it benefit me if I installed AD injectors. I've also considered installing AC injectors but being single shot injectors, would it run alot worse at idle & would I need a different chip or pcm? Thanks for your input.

With single shot's you will need a chip and good tunes..Tony Wildman. Bigest drawback if you have a auto with some miles on it is it won't last long. Id first get a new chip from Tony and it might just fill your needs for more power, if later you deside to get inj. then Tony will reburn it for free!

I have a 6 spd and run 4.10's w/35" tires. The truck has 170k miles so I've been gradually replacing items that I feel tend to be wear items that's why I'm thinking of replacing the injectors. I know they will run alot more miles but I don't think the performance is the same. I just replaced the HP oil pump, IPR & fuel pump just for precautionary reasons. I don't like being out in the middle of the desert w/no cell phone reception & breaking down. If I can get an injector that can give me more power, I'm all for it so long as it doesn't kill the wallet.
I'm new to the forum, so forgive me but who is Tony? Is his chip that much better than the competitors? Thanks

Tony is know for his fantastic tunes and his free reburns unlike the others that will charge you.

Single shots will only be a little louder than splits at idle but will give you better fuel mileage!

I'd go with stage 1's or 2's

Check your turbo and see if it has a WW installed ...to help get rid of surge.

With bigger inj. you will need to upgrade your clutch as a stock one will not hold the HP.

Cary
