my truck had a k&N on it when i bought it but if you must step up from factory ive heard good stuff about Afe and airaid.. and the intercoolers are probably going to be pretty close if youre comparing the ones that arn't made out of plastic.

F350 6.0 Powerstroke

Fully Bulletproofed (ARP Headstuds, EGR delete, oil cooler, ect...), Hypertech tuner, 4" MBRP Exhaust, K&N Intake, Fog Light Mod, Pioneer touchscreen stereo + aftermarket speakers, and BFG All-Terrains

unless your pushing over 450 HP then stay with the stock filter otherwise I vote S&B or AFE as for the inter-cooler I suggest spearco Ford Powerstroke Turbo | Powerstroke 7.3 & 6.0 Turbo Upgrades
