power banks question

I have recently bought a 2004 f-350 fx4 it has a banks perfomance system in it. it is just the system that has a knob. which has 6 different settings. I have the programming guide that just gives basics for programming it. my question is does anyone know what setings are what? i have even went to the banks website and can not find answer top my question. any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Sometimes they are preset and sometimes they are "custom" set for different positions. Most likely you'll need numbers off the chip if you want answers from Banks.

I can tell you right now from experience that if you do an EGR delete, it won't have the same power as it does now if you keep the 6 Gun on it. That system is 50 state emissions legal and when you delete the EGR it will set an insufficient flow code and defuel the truck. Have you had your truck reflashed at a Ford dealership at anytime? When I had mine reflashed I dropped from 16 mpg to 12 mpg so I ended up getting in touch with Bill at PHP and having my PCM strategy rolled back and had an Atlas 40 tune put on my FICM which instantly brought my mileage back to 16-17 mpg. After I got that back where I wanted it, I had a new custom tune written for my SCT and now I can get around 21 mpg on the interstate.

I bought the truck used and already had all the banks products on it. My mechanic is telling me to change my air filter and fuel filters and if I don't see a change in my fuel mileage then my ficm is bad... If and when I do egr delete I'm probably going to take the banks tuner out and go back to factory settings. I'm not so worried about power loss as it's a daily driver I only tow anything about 2-3 times a month and that's short distance... My main goal is to try and get better fuel mileage out of it cause 12 mpg @ $3.70 a gallon average is killing me....
