Cleaning the True Flow XDI Filter

I have a True Flow XDI cold air intake on my 2007 6.0L and need to clean it. Unfortunately True Flow is out of business and I cannot get their cleaning kit locally. Can I use the K&N recharge kit? If not, can I just wash it with dish soap, rinse it good, dry it, and re-oil it? Thanks for the help!
