Evolution CS/CTS

Ok need some help. My 08-6.4l powerstroke has great power but the mileage sucks. Will the Edge Evolution help my fuel economy like they say or is itt a waste of time and money??????

Thanks but the trouble isn't my foot. I can set the cruise anywhere from 5 under the speed limit to 30 over and mileage doesn't change more the 5%. If I'm towing an empty trailer at 60 I only get 10 mpg, loaded at 30,000lbs I'm down to about 4mpg.

have you changed your tire size? 30,000 lbs is alot.

an edge will help you a little but its not going to bring 4 mpg up much.

truck is totally stock so far. I was getting better mileage with my 7.3 and was usually loaded heavier, lol. I have an 08 dually that is usually loaded around 40 000 lbs. They have all kinds of power I just want to try and get a lil better mileage like I had with the old school powerstroke. Oh these are gross vehicle weights to not just payload.

I had the Edge Evolution installedshortly after my last post in june. With the programmer I also put in 4 inch exaust and a K&N dry filter. Its got a real nice throaty rumble to it but not crazy loud like those straight pipe dodges running around. It is awesome, I'm getting up to 35 mpg with the cruise set at 65mph with no trailer. With the trailer hooked on and loaded around 30, 000lbs gross I'm getting in the 18 range at the same speed. The throttle response and crisp shifts make 4x4ing alot more fun.

Wow those are some crazy numbers, I'm not sure which one is blowing my mind more the 14 mpg improvement while towing a 30,000 lbs load or the 35 mpg doing 65 on the freeway.

I have a 05 f350 6.0 dually with a 5" banks monster exhaust, banks cold air intake, modified turbo, oil cooler mods, egr delete and a Edge CS Attitude with juice. I Increased mileage from 11 mpg at 65 mph to 16 mpg at 65 mph, when I tow 25' boat or 36' foot 5th wheel I get 2 to 3 mpg less. Has a lot to do with the pedal.
