Tractionlock rearend lube.
I know this is a diesel forum but I need some advise on my 03 Mustang Mach1I need to change the lube in the diff & heard that it takes a special lube due to the clutches in the rearend. Something about it needs some type of friction lube to keep the clutches tight & keep the posi effect going. I would like to run a syn. lube. Is that posible? Any ideas?

What you are looking for is either gear oil with friction modifiers already added (I believe Royal Purple has that) or a bottle of friction modifier to add to gear oil that doesn't have it. It's for the limited slip (aka posi-trac). This is assuming you have limited slip.
