black mirrors.....

I have a 95 OBS with the chrome mirrors on the aluminum mounts, and I was thinking of painting or powdercloating the mirror and mount black to match the bodycolr...what do you guys think about this? I've been contemplating it for a while, but a little scared to take the plunge. has anyone seen these OBS mirrors painted to match the body? thanks!!!

Thats the same thing I've been thinking about doing to get the full monochrome look, From my experience painting chrome doesnt work out well, but maybe someone will have an idea of something to do

i have some primer/adhesion promoter stuff that will stick to it, i used it on my old IDI to paint my chromed dropbumper and it worked well. I may also powdercoat it, but do you think it would look alright? i wish i had photoshop......

I think it would look good, once I repaint my truck in a couple months hopefully. Im going to color match the mirrors and try to do the windshield trim as well

Looks Good Ian! I'd black it all out, mirror mounts, mirror and those cab handles and door handles! That would really smooth it all out!
