can u please help a fellow stroker?!?!?! please read

i just got a call from a good friend of mine and he went to hollister with his son(dirtbiking park) and his truck(97 250 7.3 pretty much stock except veggied) it keeps breaking down it will start drive about 2 miles and die again. he said there is a code coming on randomly a p1211, it has to do with oil but he thinks it might be an injector modual relay or something. he said it starts up fine and right away but will just die, he said when it dies it wont just cut out he said it sputters like out of fuel. can u please help?

A P1211 is injection control pressure high/low. His HPOP may have taken a crap. Start simple though, have him unhook the ICP sensor and try it.

that could be a problem but how anal he is about his oil i dont think that would be possible. runs it through a 20 micron filter evaps water, centrefuge, he does it twice so his oil is clear and his filters dont even get really dirty..

i have never heard of a hpop go bad, does it happen often?

yes hpop's go out quite often if thats the case advise him to put in a 17 degree hpop or if he wants big injectors in the future get a stealth or terminator pump but those are quite a bit of money best bet is a 17 degree if thats the problem

If the icp sensor is really messed up, unplugging it will put the computer into a default mode and it sill start, if that is in fact the problem.
