Ok so...

I know that upgrading the air intake and exhaust makes a big diff but what i would like to know is how to make 400 plus horsepower!!

haha woops forgot those are kinda important well i currently do not have a truck, i am wanting to get a 94-97 350 5spd sometime this year, so right now i am just asking questions so i know what to do when i get one.

With the 7.3 engine your gonna have to do turbo and injectors, intake, chip, exhaust, and so on.

the 7.3's are hard to make high horsepower with.you have to do alot to them just to make significant horsepower

For 400 Id say, exhaust, intake, gauges, custom tunes, clutch, stage 2 injectors or hybrids, modded H2E or something along those lines, electric fuel system, overdrive, dual, stealth HPOP, etc. (take your pick). intercooler. Im sure there are some things missing but that should get you there
