Real Tuner Results, Please Post here!!

All right, all this talk of this tuner or that....If you have one please post what you have, what you like and dislike, mpgs, calced or read!! Dpf delete or whatever!! I am looking to get a mod kit or programmer of some sort, but don't want to spend the $$ w/out knowing possible results!! I want to increase my mpgs..Please post..Thanks!

I have a Hypertech E-Con that I have installed last year. I also use a ScanGaugeII that indicates all the engine parameters except the Exhaust Temp that I keep track with a Gauge. I pull a 12000 Lbs Trailer. The Power gain is like this, When stock the Torque goes to 100% at every hill while I have the overdrive on at 60MPH. With the Program set to A, I can make the same hill at 70% torque and still have up to 100% choice on the accelarator. I usually let it go to 90% now, and can sometimes gain speed in the hill. The Temperature on my Exhaust hardly goes up more then normal. In fact I never had to pull of the trottle back, because of exhaust overheating.

Without the trailer I find that the setting on A or B give me a much better MPG increase at higher speeds then Stock. When I put my truck back to stock I feel all kinds of Engine noises and vibration.

I would never leave with the truck stock while hauling my trailer. I have a Standard Transmission and I do the shifting myself. I would recommend a Programmer that also controls shifting, if an automatic is being used.
