Should I get an Extended Warranty????

Well my truck is a 2006 F-250 with the 6.0L and I really do love the truck. I have about 35,880 miles on it and my factory warranty ends the end of this month (May). I have had an EGR problem, the body molding on the drivers door needed replace, and I just noticed my 3rd oil leak underneath the truck from the same area it has been taken in for the other 2 times. I am really stressing out here on if I should purchase an extended warranty for the truck before my 3yr./36k expires or just not worry about it. The only concern I have that is making me think to do it is this oil leaking that keeps appearing even after they fix it. My only saving grace would be that it is something in the engine area and it would still be covered by my 5yr./100k engine warranty if it were to happen a 4th time. Just looking for some advice and thanks in advance.

Trent

No doubt get the warranty for as long as possible imo you'll be glad if you do in the long run

dude,

i would say it depends. you have to way the cost of the warranty vs would you would have to pay for a repair. your powertrain warranty will cover those types of repairs, but you never know whats in the future.

i know running back and forth to the dealer is a pain in the neck but if i were you i would keep dealing with the oil leak until its fixed. sometimes you may even have to write a letter to ford to keep the ball rolling.

my brand new 09 f350 that i drove for 3 days leaked tranny fluid on my driveway that was paved in the fall of last year. i`m now considering an extended warranty as well.
