fuel filter questions

is there another filter on the frame? the trucks running rough and my dad thinks its acting like its starving for fuel so im thinking theres gotta be a filter on the frame. i looked under today and seen theres a black thing looks like a fuel pump but not sure an info would be appreciated thanks

If it is the 99 in your sig. that you are referring to, then no there is not another filter on the frame. The 6.0's have one on the engine and one on the frame and I'm not sure about the 6.4 but the 95-97 and 99-03 7.3 do not.

the 6.o has two fuel filters one on top one on the frame on the drivers side. to avoid getting a face full of fuel i point the front of the truck down hill this helps from getting a ton of fuel in your face. the 7.3 only has one filter dont know about the 6.4
