where to find a 5.9L Cummins motor..?

hey guys. im looking for a motor for my buddy. he recently went to north carolina and picked up this "hot rod" of a dodge. the thing is sick. a lot of go fast goodies and looks awesome. well, with all of these go fast accessories hes had to replace the "top of the line ATS tranny" it came with and now he blew up the motor. he popped a head gasket and somehow put a hole in the block and head. apparently he can pick one up from the dodge or cummins, (im not sure which one) that is rebuilt for 9900...that would be fine and dandy if he didnt just spend 6500 rebuilding the "totally bullet proof" ATS slushbox. hes not sure if he should just fix the thing and sell it or spend the money, fix it the right way and drive it. thanks for reading this long post.

Bryan

Oh alright, nevermind then.

Buddy of mine sold his cummins a few months back, that had an ATS tranny in it supposedly, and he always said it was a "top of the line ATS tranny". Not sure if it actually did or not, cause it was built by a local shop. That dude could have filled his head full of BS.

But that's not the same truck. his was maroon and and wasn't lifted, or maybe it had a 2 or 3 inch lift.

He definitely wasn't from Fayetteville

Anyways, sorry to derail your thread

Here's a free tho

oh ok. yeah this thing is up there, not as high as mine though its an awesome looking, driving and riding truck, it just sucks he has to fork out this much money already. i told him before he bought it that the head studs would definately have to be done. the turbo makes 60 psi...we just didnt expect the ATS to fail.
