Well my buddy just bought a 2001 Dodge Ram 3500 6 speed High Output Cummins. It has 190K miles on it. The previous owner told him all it has done to it is injectors, intake, and exhaust (it has gauges but those aren't performance gainers)

Its a good looking truck. Black, extended cab. Well he had a guy he knows who knows diesels (i doubt this after what i was told he said) and the guy told him that right now how it is he could sell him and install a chip (an Edge Performance chip) and that doing so would make the truck run 10's in the 1/4 mile.

Well my buddy believes him. He's not gonna do it though because he said he doesn't want a truck that runs like that.

I just found it really funny because the truck still has the stock turbo, intake manifold, head gasket, basically NONE of the things that you need to make the truck run 10's.
