Stacks and Tonneau Cover
I have been searching the internet for some time for some sort of fabrication instructions for getting stacks and a tonneau cover. I will be getting stacks in the near future but want my tonneau cover, anyone have any designs on how to keep the cover away from the heat?

i have always seen them about an inch away form the stacks without problems. i have never done it myself but that is what i have seen.

well from everyone that i've seen that has the covers and stacks, they usually just cut out the holes to allow the stacks to fit down the holes and have enough room so the heat doesn't get to the cover

from what i can think is your going to have to cut an oval hold so you can lift the cover .....i think a inch on the sides and back should be good for the heat and what you should do is get tha tough rubber door liner stuff thats lined with soft metal so you can line the hole you cut and give it a good edge

I dont usually carry anything in my bed so its ok, but people talk about water and stuff.... This is going to be the most awesome thing I have ever done, I cant wait!!

This is how I did mine. I still use my bed and didn't want to burn anything so so I had a t-pipe cover made and had my tonneau shortened to fit.
