1999 powerstroke trade for 2001 cummins

hey guys, i know it's nothing pertaining to powerstrokes besides mine, but I just wanna' get your input on a trade that I was offered. Maroon 4x4 2001 24v Cummins 6spd with FASS fuel system, quadzilla adrenaline, new transmission, new clutch, new front drive shaft, new control arms w/ greaseable bushings, AFE intake, Banks exhaust brake, boost, EGT, and fuel pressure gauges. the truck itself has 230k with 10k on the clutch and transmission. I have a 1999 7.3 PSD 6spd 4x4, basically bone stock except for a lift kit and 4" exhaust. My truck IS a salvage title too, with 164k. I was just wondering what you guys know about the 24v Cummins, if the milage is to high, how long a Cummins is good for before needing a rebuild, and anything else you can think of. You can either post on here or email me at camo_powerstroke@hotmail.com, thanks for your time.

Yeah, I'm still thinking on it. The transmission being replaced really worries me, it's either been to the wood it's whole life, or it's pulled a trailer everyday, both of which are killers. Also, it's probably been started, driven right away, got home, and turned off right away. BIG no no in my book, I just can't get past some of the stuff people do to a diesel thinking it's just lie a gasser. But in either case, I'm still looking, gotta have a short box though, long box is just to much of a pain.
