There is certainly better, if for no other reason then a more custom taylored tune. I don't have a lot of experience with Bully Dog, but if it's been said once, it's been said 100 times. DP Tuner or TW Chips are the way to go. That being said....Seems like they (Bully Dog) chips were hard on transmissions. I might be lying though...Someone else will chime in for sure.

EDIT: This is assuming this is for a 7.3L. Their isn't a lot of info in your post.

I was running a Bully Dog for 2 years. I really liked the outlook options it offered. I did not like missing too many shifts when I mostly depended on it. Shifts were at time erratic
and sometimes failed to even shift. I'm Happy with the SCT with custom tunes presently!!
