Extended warrantee coverage

I've got this company callin me for an extended warranty, they want $3100 for bumper to bumper coverage with no deductible. Is this a good deal or should i steer clear, i know trannys are expensive on these things.

yea, aftermarket warranties like that usually aren't worth the paper that they are written on. They will always find something to deny you coverage if you ever make a claim.

Thats what i was leary about. I kinda figured they would try to get around it, but i wanted some second opinions from other people.

dont do it. who in their right mind would want to insure a 9 year old truck not knowing the condition its in. just do regular maint. and youll be fine. I don't have any experience with warranties but i think what i said makes sense

Thats kinda what i was thinkin. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

We get the calls all the time for my truck and for my mom's truck which is a 98'. Don't do it....
