...so there I am taking it easy and getting around 14mpg average. Today the wife takes the truck and I just have to smile as she roars off (twin turbo's spooling away). Man this PSD sounds great.

I get the truck back this afternoon and lieometer reads 10.9 mpg. "This is a great, great, truck, belows TW, as she hitches up her pants!

She loves it and drives it like it should be driven!

...okay, so I take 'the Dark Knight' out yesterday evening, take it real easy, and push the consumption up from 10.9mpg to 12.1mpg. The truck's a week old and still running in - has 700 miles on it so I'm taking it slow.

This morning TW leaves early and lo-and-behold the truck is gone - I'm relegated to drive the Honda Odyssey!

I just got back from work and TW is all smiles; "I'm so glad we got this truck - It's a blast", she says. I ask her what the lieometer is displaying - "10.8mpg"!

I am told I drive like an "old fart" !!!

...the saga continues. I beg my wife to leave the truck this morning. I'm in danger of losing my manhood (okay, okay, it's lost already). I get in the truck and liometer says 10.1 MPG - SHE LIED !!!

Okay, so I go to drop off the kid. Minivans everywhere. I have to go back and forwards a couple of times before I park the beast. Suddenly the Odyssey seems small and manouverable.

At lunch five of us in the office go out. We're heading to Delano district - old part of town where the parking is tight. "Hey Neal, let's take your truck". I tell them it's too embarrasing - I have to explain I'll not be able to park it! We take someone elses Nissan X-Terra.

...yeah, I'm a certified wimp now!

it will be okay bud, she will get tired of trying to park the stroker, and hopefully return to the honda. hope you get it back soon, i would die if i had a new truck and couldnt drive it

i basically did that last year when i couldnt drive mine due to engine issues.

now my mom wants dad to buy the truck from me.

...what part of "certified wimp" did you not understand?

When my wife was doing her degree she insisted on driving the Nissan Frontier on campus - Stick shift and-all. She did not want to be seen in a MINI-VAN!

Now she is working as a PA she does not want to be seen in a MINI-VAN!!! Methinks she is trying to intimidate the doctors.

...at least I get visitation rights.

wimp or not, i have owned my psd for 13 months now, and the only one to work on it, and drive it was me!!! not even my wife. just hide the keys

Had that problem now when I say our truck she instantly reminds me that it;s not ours it's yours . lets just say she way pissed owell.
