i have in a ton of vehicles lol
mine 01 f-350 2 amps Kicker, Jensen (1 speakers, 1 sub), head unit alpine, speakers kicker, Sub 1-10" kicker in jl stealth box , Soon to add a cap

girlfriends 00 accord amp MTX, head unit alpine , speakers Sony, Sub 1-10" MTX

brothers 98 mountaineer amp MTX, head unit alpine, speakers pioneer, Sub 2- 10" kicker

Buddy's 08 duramax amp kicker, head unit alpine , speakers infinity, Sub 2-12" MTX jackhammers

his g.f. 97 altima amp Pipe audio, head unit??? , speakers pipe audio, Sub 1-12" pipe audio

and many more
mine was by far the most complex cause i amped the speakers and had to run separate speaker wire to each door

What size was your door speakers? Does anyone sell some that just plug in factory?

i dont think so but all you have to do is cut that goofy little ford plug off and crimp on some regular spade connectors and you can hook it up to just about anything you like.

I have had good luck with the pioneer D3 head unit, pioneer door speakers, and JL audio subs. Im running the new rockford fosgate 300.1 amp with a Audio Control processor. It sounds good. relly good. O yea, and a tracvision dish on top!!

The only speakers I have ever put in trucks are infinity Kapa's.

I have a JVC AM/FM/CD with 12 disc changer, kicker 12 inch sub, 1200watt amp, JVC 3 way 6x8 speakers.

I have had a lot of compliments of how my system sounds. It is not loud to make you get out of the truck. Not to quiet where you can't hear it when the windows are down in the summer.

It sounds good no matter what music your listening too.
