Question 8 inch lift question???

Thinking about lifting my f250 with a normal 8 inches lift (no added shocks). This is the first time I have ever lifted any of my vehicles. The shop gave me a bid around $2000.00 just for the lift(no a. Is this a good price or I’m I a sucker for paying? Cheap tires and rim.

So this price is lift and labor? Is it a spring or block in the rear? What brand? And you still have to buy shocks? The more someone knows the better they can help you answer your questions.
