Question Programmer or chip question???

Today I went to a retail stores looking for a programmer or a chip. They were selling me hard on the bully dog (performance management tool pmt). I know that bully dog spends a lot of money on their advertising each year and that doesn’t mean their the best. Does anyone know any better brands or cheaper solution.

the best thing for our 7.3/4r100's is a custom tuned chip such as a TW chip, Dp tuner, PHP chip, or even a ts chip, There are alot of threads about all of them, just search them on the site, but before you do that you will need gauges, and a better flowing exhaust

Send a message via Yahoo to Dave
Tony Wildman, DP Tuner, PowerHungry Performance or a few others for the 7.3. Do not waste your time with Bully Puppy or Hypertech or the likes

The best thing about a custom tuned chip is that it not only re-tunes your truck, but also tunes to your tranny, which allows for better shift points and gives you the biggest benefit out of the truck
