differance between 09 f350 srw gas & diesel drivetrain

i want to buy a 09 f350 srw 4x4 gas and covert it to a cummins if the drivetrain is the same as diesel.are the axles the same,transfer case and such thanks

You know if you do the transplant the engine is suppose to be from the same model year or newer or else its illegal. I read about transplant requirements in Diesel Performance Magazine a few months ago. Just letting you know if you were planning on dropping the 5.9 in there. Check with your state I could be wrong. Just something to consider.

If it was a 5.4 you ight need to get front springs but a 6.8 should hold it up.
