850CCA or 1000CCA

What CCA's batteries do our trucks 94-97 use? I have always put 1000 cca in but recently a guy was saying 800 - 850 cca's. I seem to recall issues with the lower CCA's which is the reason for my use of the 1K's.
Thanks,
Craig

I have 850's. If you go up north or have a bunch of electrical BS, 1000's are nice.

24 hours long????? What are you talking about? It gets in the 50's and stays there for weeks at a time, with wind chill it's like 39

I got the stock 750cca batts in mine and they do just fine, although when its butt azz cold it would be nice to have more juice to turn that cold beast over.
