I know GM is coming out with a 4.5L D-Max and Ford is coming out with a 4.4L for their halftons and some SUV's.

Both diesels have been in research for a while. An instructor at GMSTC told us that the baby duramax woulda been out sooner, but "the current economy didnt allow for it". Havent we all heard that excuse about a thousand times.

Thats sad, considering Ford Motor Company owns controlling stock of Cummins and is in the experimental stage of outfitting the superduties with the Cummins. Unfortunately, I have family that works for Louisville Truck in Kentucky and I have family that works at Cummins in Indiana and they both say the same thing. Actually seen a trailer leave Louisville truck full of F350's with Cummins powerplants.
