It never had any gear issues and just flew up the hills and super smooth. I actually forgot my trailer was there. I cruised around 70MPH most of the trip and the trans and radiator gauges stayed in the middle and never moved at all. I know the 6.0 liter is not always praised by many but damm it so powerful. I used to tow with a dodge 5.9 v8 gasser and it struggled to go up hills and would never get past 40 MPH up hills. This is a beast compared to that truck. My truck is really nice and I am happy so let's hope no break downs.
i would highly recommend aftermarket gauges though... your stock trans temp gauge is useless... its just basically a dummy light... boost, pyro and trans temp is what i suggest.. that way you can really monitor what your truck is doing..
get a pic of your truck and jeep when you get a chance.. i love looking at fixed up jeeps
