Help Please -

I have a 1999 Super Duty F250 Extended cab 7.3 - Have owned this truck for about 4 years - all is great except for 1 thing - the A/C works great ice cold but it only blows out the defroster vents & on a hot summer day - no cooling as the cold air goes right thru the windshield before it reaches the cab

Getting ready to take the truck out west for a camping / sightseeing trip & my wife is having fits about the A/C - I have checked the vac lines under the hood they all look connected - there is 1 area on the pump thing that has a fitting but no line to it - I called ford & they said - 1100 - 1500 repair bill to remove dash etc. Can anyone please give me some direction please?

You have a leaky vacuum line. Do you have the auto 4x4 hubs also. If you do I bet the leak is down there

can I post pictures on here? if so maybe I could take a pic of the box where the vac line goes into & where there is a fitting but no tube - I am hoping for some kind of easy fix as the repair price from Ford is a trip killer
