stock headlight output? How about HID conversion?

Does your headlight output suck? On my 2000 truck, the lights are dim and the pattern seems to be off even after trying to adjust them. It looks like I'm driving my early 90's honda again, which had horrible lights BTW. Does the 2005 conversion really make a huge difference? I'm contemplating an HID retrofit if I can't get these factory halogens to throw more light.

i was impressed with just going to the clear headlights. made it much brighter. and then go with the silver star bulbs or something better. you would be happy with it

Newer clear lens OEM lights and the upgrade harness from GOS racing will literally double light output. You can get the heads for pretty cheap if you search around a bit and the harness is about 60 bucks or so.

Honestly....nothing will really help the older non-clear housings....get rid of them before anything else.
