Filter Prices
This morning I was going through the file on my 2006 6.0 and came across a receipt for filters I had bought on-line. My local Ford dealer charges close to $30.00 for a 6.0 Motorcraft FL2016 oil filter. I bought just one thinking it was too much. I did some research on the internet and found the same exact OEM Motorcraft oil filter for $18.50 each at Diesel Filters,Additives, brake rotors, and brake pads for Chevy, Dodge and Ford Diesel Trucks. I ordered a case as well as a set of OEM Motorcraft fuel filters FD-4604 for $47.09 ; the Ford agency quoted me around $70.00 as I recall. The filters arrived at my home in an unopened Motorcraft case. If you order at least $250.00 from Diesel Filters.com the shipping is free, another plus is no sales tax.
I have no affiliation what so ever with DieselFilters.com, just thought I would pass the info along to everyone. If anyone knows of a cheaper price yet, please post. |

6.0 Filters
I buy the motorcraft oil filters from walmart for $18-$19 each. I get the fuel filters from my local International dealer for about $32 for both filters. They are the exact same ones made by Racor that the ford dealer sells for about half the price. just packaged in an International box.
