Fuel Pressure

I recently installed an autometer electronic fuel pressure guage in my obs and when the truck is running the pressure varies from 30psi to 60psi. the sender unit is installed in place of the scrader valve. could this be a fuel pump issue. if so where is it on the truck, where could i buy one and how much.

Is it bouncing from the 30-60 between pump pulses? Mine does that too but I do not have a liquid gauge on it. JJ

Mine's been going between 24 and 37. Not pulsating or anything, but I fire her up and drive to work, it goes to 24 or 27 and sticks. I take it to lunch, it's 32 or 27. Cold seems to be lower and warmer is higher. I thought it might be too many air bubbles in my line (post separator). I will have to clean the line and attempt a shim mode once I establish what "normal" is supposed to be.
