Amsoil Vs Scheaffer's

I have been using Amsoil for 25 years, and its the only oil I have used except breakin oil. The only comparisen I can make is agaist Delo 400 25 years ago. At theat time there was no comparisen. I have not used another sythetic.

Has anybody compare'd these 2 sythetic. Percived difference or UOA difference?

They are both excellent oils. I am going to be switching from Amsoil to Schaeffers shortly though. Due to difference in cost

I love my Schaeffers 9000 in the winter and the price is hard to beat at $18 a gallon.

I like Amsoil 15/40 and Schaeffer's.

Here's an UOA with 10k mostly city driving on AME 15-40. Viscosity is at the low end of 40w. I got 13K on it now. going to do another UOA soon along with an oil change.

oh well the last time we sent ours out was about a year ago and at that time the oil had about 40k on it an it checked fine but really need to change

i use Amsoil 5w-40 in my 6.0L and dont ever plan on changin 2 anythin else !!!
