DIESEL SMELLS LIKE GASOLINE!

I have a 05 psd 6.0L

I just changed my fuel filter. On draining the water trap I noticed a faint gasoline smell in the fuel...

I'm hopeing that its a winter aditive or something, but has a faint hint of gas. I live in the seattle area where it generally doesn't get down past freezing, so I doubt that any strong solvents were used in the fuel mixture...

I always buy my Fuel at the same shell station, and
I haven't noticed any diffrence in the performance of my truck. I'm concerned that I may have gotten some contaminated fuel.

Has anyone ever heard of this happening?
