d-max?

what are ur thoughts on this.
im not a chevy guy in any way, although i found an 01 d-max at a very good price. $4500. it has 142,000 miles and is only like an hour away.
i want a psd real bad but havent found one that i really like for the price.
now what im thinking is that i buy it, chip it, drive it for a few months than try to sell it for more than what i payed.
this will also help me to get to a job.
im only 15 so this is going to be as much as i can pay neways,
any suggestions?
btw im sorry for always posting these dumb threads than never making a move on anything, i just want the beast deal for my money.

Not a bad truck for the money. My advice would be to have it checked out by a mechanic before you buy it

yes luckily the truck is semi-local so i can look at it and have it looked at before i buy.

i think if you really want a 6.0 they are out there to be found, i looked on ebay motors and found a couple 03 6.0s for around 10k

Yes I would definitly buy it if it checks out okay, thats a sharp looking truck. Now I'm a Die Hard Ford guy, doesn't matter if it's gas or diesel. But something tells me if you buy the truck and chip it and do other little goods that come with it, you will not want to get rid of it for a long time. Good luck with the sale.

well i dont think im going to have near that much nemore.
this truckis alot closer in my price range.
if i do perhaps get more money to spend i will try to get this

But thats the 03 6.0 aren't those known for problems?
