Looking to buy is this a good deal?

Hello,

I know I am new so I hope that I am placing this in the right spot? I am looking for a 2003-2006 F-250 4x4 Lariat for $22,000 or less. I have seen a few trucks locally in SoCal but here is the latest. I know there are some concerns with the 03 6.0L what is the general thoughts on these rigs and a price point for an 03? Also is what are some general things I should check out when I see it? I am searching the forum for post and info but my timeline is tight so I thought I would post here as well. Here is the truck and I have them down to $19,500 over the phone:

I would look for a truck in Texas, its closer and you can find some good deals, an 03-04 with 50k is going for 17ish down here. look in Dallas and Houston.

Not a big fan of those rims. And you probably wont like the paddle mirrors if you have ever used the tow mirrows. Welcome to the Org!

Do you want a reliable truck or a fast truck? If you want a reliable truck find yourself a 7.3. If you want a fast truck a 6.0 is a start but there are some costly things you'll need to do. $19.5K is too much for that truck. $15K is around the right price.
