truck question

hey y'all i got a question...i have a buddy that has a 99' with around 150 thousand miles and a DIY intake and a 4 inch exhaust he had a edge evolution in it and it smoked like crazy...we put that same edge box in my 02' truck with 96000 thousand miles on it. Mine has a DIY intake and a 4 inch exhaust also, but it didnt smoke nearly as much as his...maybe a 1/4 of what his did is this due to the miles on the truck?

Miles arent going to make that big of a difference on your smoke output. You have a 3 year difference in yalls trucks. Every truck is different.
You want smoke? Get a TW or Dp with the smoke setting

-5" TB into 6" miter
-Recon smoked cab lights
-Bullydog "mileage" chip *Matts tunes in 2 weeks*
-Warn hubs
-DIY intake, Foil delete

ok i was just kinda wondering thanks man...now between the two chips which would you prefer i have heared good and bad bout both of them or is it more of a personal preferance

i can really olny say go with the tw cause i have never tryed a dp
but i have nothing bad at all to say about it-free reburns if you want to change tunes or if you up grade injectors or something like that and dp id 25 bucks a tune (they have 6 tunes-most) but you defentally want to lose the evo especially if yours is an auto cause edge has a bad rep. for eating an auto trans up (just from what i have heard) but with a tw u will not be dissapointed

u will blow more smoke with an auto cause it seems to me like they lug more and if you power break it and dont let the tires break lose then it should absoultly roal it!

ight yea i think that im gonna get rid of that evo because i have noticed a differance when it shifts into od it really lugs its self unlike before stock it didnt do that...idk...im not really happy with it but i aint was just wonderin...

Its really a personal preference. It seems like i see more high HP people running Jody@Dp tunes. Something thats always caught my attention

Thats true, but with practice you can juggle it all with a standard. Such a great feeling isn't it?
