Puts power to the little heater in the intake spyder. The AIH was added on the 99.5-03 trucks to clear up a little smoke at idle when it's cold out.
Mine has been deleted for 2 years or more now

why would u delete it and how.

You just take it out and plug the hole. Be sure to take the power wire off though otherwise you'll end up with a short. The reason people delete them is because it's basically a pointless restriction in your intake. Doesn't really make any horsepower it's the point of it all. Some places sell the plugs if you don't feel like going to the hardware store.

so if its deleted or not working it will smoke while idleing when cold?

Honestly, mine smokes anyways because of the tune. So I figure why have this piontless restriction if it's never going to help me in any way.

Early 99's and OBS 7.3's did not have the AIH... it was added for "emission" reasons.
