Yes another lift debate 2 inch vs 4 inch

I have an 06 F250 that I am wanting to lift either 2 or 4 inches. 2 inch kits I've looked at are skyjacker with m95 shocks or carli with bilstein shocks (eventually want to go to coil overs). 4 inch kits I've looked at are skyjacker, and rough country. Unfortunately the carli 4 inch kit is out of my budget. I am wanting to run 35's and I'm wanting to progressively turn my truck into an F250 raptor. I do some off-roading but nothing extreme mainly fields, small mud holes, and through the woods but that is only maybe 10% of my driving. I want the capability of going over logs or through a small creek if needed. I don't have a whole lot of money to spend but I would like something that handles well offroad and gives me enough clearance when I need it. Can't decide if a 4 inch kit would be pointless if running 35's or not cuz I don't plan on going bigger on tires due to cost. Any opinions or photos would be appreciated thanks and God bless!
