Hi Y'all.
I am new to diesels so I am a bit bewildered. I have a 95 F350 7.3 stock. I have been having various issues with this vehicle for the last 4 months. What it is currently doing is it will start, but if I press the gas pedal, it dies, if I leave it to idle it will die pretty quickly and idle rough while it does idle. A couple of weeks ago, it died on my wife after driving about 90 miles, and would not restart until it sat over night. It then started and ran fine until yesterday and the problem I described above started. I have changed the oil, air and fuel filters, added 911 to the fuel (I am in Nebraska) and no change in behavior. Any idea's?

Thank you! I ordered one today. I replace it 4 months ago with one from Napa. I did also have to charge the batteries, they read low.

It's no fun being down and out either. I have read that if your batteries ever read low you should replace them, charging them is not good enough. Does anyone share this opinion? If so, could you explain why? Thanks!

Well i've heard that but I have charged mine and they seem to be fine.. It probably depends on your brand.
