Help if possible!

Alright every1 I've got a problem with fuel leaking out of my truck. I've got under the motor and looked at it *only leaks while running* and it looks to be comming out of a overflow line as it looks. Im not really sure if thats what it is, but I cant think of anything else becuase it still gets fuel to drive and everything else. Thanks if any1 has any info please get back to me!

If its a 7.3 im willing to bet the fuel bowl drain valve is leaking

Yeah a little more info and list the mods that you have done as well

It's most likely your O-rings inside the water/fuel seperater swicth, the yellow lever behind your fuel filter housing, there are two O-rings inside there that go bad eventually. I just went through the same thing about a month ago. turn the lever to open and see if the fuel leaking out is coming from the same overflow tube your talking about, if so then that is going to be your problem. took me about an hour and four beers to fix the problem.

This truck is a 2000 and all i've got done 2 it is superchips and cold air intake and straight pipe. Ok if its that o rings ur talking about and I took it to a shop what would i ask them to do exactly? Thanks guys!

i would ask them to relace the entire release valve, the new valve comes with a set of orings, its on the back of the fuel bowl that holds the fuel filter. its an easy fix.

Thanks Im going to try that. By the way Im not to bad at fixing things is it a real hard job to get done? Think some1 with just a little knowlege could fix it? Thanks guys a lot!

You can do it yourself. just a piece of advice. Put a towel in the valley below the seperator. Give me a sec and I will get you the instructions
