just a couple general questions
Hello all. I am a new ford truck guy. I recently purchased an 08 F350 SW.
It came with General AT 35x12.5 on stock 20 in rims. The tires are basically in new condition but i am thinking about putting aftermarket rims and just using the same tires. My question is about the TPMS. I looked on tire rack and it said i would have to buy new TPMS sensors for all 4 wheels which would add about $325 to the total price.
Does anybody know what kind of sensors are in the wheels and will i be able to use the existing one since i will be using the tires which are already on the truck?
Second Question. The truck came with a retractale Tonneau cover. Its in really nice shape and i know to replace one it would be pretty expensive so i want to keep it on. However i want to put a over the bed rail toolbox on the truck. Has anybody every done a mod like this. My concern is that i will have a small gap between the toolbox and the housing for the retractable cover. Does anybody have an idea how to avoid any leaking? Thanks in advance!
