22 MPG this past weekend!

My 1995 F250 ext cab 2WD PS diesel got an average pf 22 MPG over 660 miles. The tires were at their maximum pressures, fresh Rotella T oil change before I left and drove between 75-80 MPH the entire time putting my engine RPMS between 2100-2300RPM. The truck had 3 people in it and about 40 lbs of luggage.

I was VERY impressed! Not too shabby for 294K on the clock!!

Not bad man. Ive gotten 21.6 with a refridgerator in the bed. This last weeekend with the new and bigger tires I got an even 20 on winter blend. I really due love my truck.

Yes I would assume that is the case. This is the firsat truck that I have not checked

My last few were 4.10's and there was a very big difference between those and this new one.

wow, both my previous trucks with 4.10's I got 19 or so MPG. Of course they were a 92 and 94 IDI no turbo..

To quote an old time cowboy, man that's a lot of horse crap! Isn't a powerstroke ever made that got 22 mpg ESPECIALLY at 80mpg. If you did then call them, it is a record! You do know how to do math, right? And since it is an average how is that? In order for it to be an average you had to fill the deisel tank at least 2 times and if that is the case what was the high side 28?? I have heard many tales of this type of milage but alas it never happens, EVER!!!
